this movie does what it needs too as far as being a movie to watch along side the greater series, the "main" villain of this movie lowkey doesnt make sense but its kind of fine, since motivations aside(literally he just waffles about random stuff and maybe its on me but i still literally have no idea why or how he was doing anything), he is used well to prop up the main characters, as well as the greater power system…

Really peak, ofc, movie that is home to one of my favourite pokemon fun facts (the Japanese va for mewtwo was the same actor that played the Japanese version of the guy from phantom of the opera, and thus this movie was rewritten after he was cast, to make mewtwos character more similar to that of the phantom) I wish pokemon were real💔
