Harold and Maude 1971
Emotionally excavating cinema. I first saw Harold and Maude at 14 and it rewired my brain. Tonight I saw it with my husband at the local movie theater for their Rom Com Wednesdays special for the month of February.
I have a tendency of overhyping movies I love to him. Thankfully I must have undersold this one. It’s even funnier and more beautiful than I remembered. For the rest of the night my heart was full my eyes on the verge of tears. Wow what a picture.
