I feel ever since Motoko came into his film there is a kind of very emotional and soft sentiment in the image, and he seems like gradually giving up those symbolism stuff in the 90s, his filmography becomes more direct and simple. while motoko, perfect combination of girl and woman, pure yet erotic in a suggestive and ambiguous way. I don’t know what to say but seems like, those films have a totally different tone because of motoko
