I watched this one right after finishing Three Colors: Blue, and I don't think that does this one any favors. An incredible character study on grief. This was my first Kieslowski film and I was moved by the subtly of the filmmaking. He really just has you sit with Julie and deal with all that she is going through. This film takes its time. It is silent. And the lead performance by Juliette Binoche is absolutely mesmerizing.
