The Evil Dead 1981
I really liked this one. Everything from the acting to practical effects were great. I love Ash so much and only seeing him in Dead By Daylight it's nice to see some of his source material.
The outfit design is so good. Cheryl's first outfit is so witchcore but also whimsy vibes. And the makeup on the monsters and the stop motion use was so clever. I've never seen that in a film before and it's so effective!
For the first week of this challenge this is a really strong start, looking forward to what's next!

Firstly the casting, bro they're so cool looking and I love the retro aesthetic. Lisa is so pretty I wanna look like her so bad. And Jessie is so gay. The script felt better in quality than the first. The set design was good but not quite on par with the original.
