so, honestly, the film made me feel relatively uncomfortable, I couldn't explain why or how.
BUT!
the book is easily one of my favorites, a wonder of the world that I'd like to forget all about just so I could read it all over again.
seriously, this book is superb.(but, I didn't really like the film, I felt bad all the way through, I don't know what happened but it made me feel a bit sick)

ok actually, i saw it a while ago.
As much as this movie is pretty lame (my opinion), I kind of understand the kid, like there were times I was in “she's so me” mode, it's maybe a little worrying, I swear I'm fine. (daddy issues team, we're here)ok but hear me out, the bald guy (seriously a father figure I think)
