“He wanted to die with me and I dreamed of being lost forever in his arms.”
Wow, what a tragically beautiful movie this is. Made me feel filled with immense warmth yet immense sadness for the doomed couple. The writing is impeccable and almost every line is quotable. The insight the two main characters give on life is raw and unforgettable. Their love was like the Great Plains itself: vast but hopeless.
