Winter Light 1963
hands down bergman’s best film ever. all the little details are so intricate and well thought out. the themes of the silence of God and the pursuit of religion are excellently portrayed. each character has their own story, all of which speak volumes. very touching and beautiful, a lovely food for thought moment. swedish movie man put his heart and SOUL into this one. bonus points for no incest.

Curious George: Royal Monkey 2019
an alternate universe with a monkey as a prince/ george’s evil twin but make him a monarchical leader in a foreign country. this movie appeared every time i tried to watch the curious george christmas movie musical so we kinda have beef by default. there is nothing rlly special about it it just seems like an elongated tv episode but whatever. still gets 5 stars though bc it features my beloved.
