Mickey 17 2025
I enjoyed this a lot. Good humour, visually stunning and incredibly relevant. This isn't on the level of Parasite (2019) but it's still a fantastic film and a great addition to Bong Joon Ho's filmography.
Performances were great, I loved Robert Pattinson in this role. Mark Ruffalo and Toni Collette were very well suited as well.

Such an influential film. Chantal Akerman meticulously details the daily routine of a widow with this sense of impending doom. Although it seems simple at its surface it is a brilliant character study and it encompasses an entire world. It’s one of the most hypnotic and complete depictions of space and time in cinema.
It’s an incredible, experimental film that at its core represents second-wave feminism and the patriarchal surveillance of women in society.
This will always be regarded (at least in my opinion) as one of the most influential, important and experimental films in cinematic history.Translated from by
