Pan's Labyrinth 2006
I stand by my statement that Pan’s Labyrinth is essentially a combination of Narnia and Harry Potter. Both books and movies came out before Del Toro’s movie.
The Faun is Mr Tumnus and Ofelia is Lucy, granted there’s no scarf or wardrobe. Also why did he show up in her bedroom and send fairies to her bath… weird!
