They made a movie with the Orientalist narrative in the 20th century and got away with it. That’s insane. Fvcking loved this movie until I read the true history of Lawrence. This is the movie where the colonialist thieves fantasises about saving the east. Wonder if there is a movie glorifying Robert Clive as well.

Sound of Metal 2019
reminds me to be thankful about the gifts I have. I'm humbled and weirdly motivated after watching this movie. huge respect for the deaf people around us for being so positive and courageous. I had an aunt who was deaf. among all the people I've lost I miss her the most because of how overwhelming her love was, still can remember many moments after many years of her passing. most def will add as many accessibility feature as possible when I'm developing an app.
