i’m in shambles i can’t even see an animal rn or i will start sobbing again
like are you kidding? any movie that can move me deeply and make me cry is easily 3.5-4 stars… but this has NO DIALOGUE and by the very end tears were uncontrollably streaming down my face. literally turned to AJ right after like “are we the only ones crying in this bitch?” i say there’s no dialogue, but the meows, lemur noises, chirps, capy growls and barks say everything. the animation is nothing like i’ve ever seen, so beautiful and genuinely looks real at times. i was just in awe.

on second watch wowowowow… i feel like i waited an appropriate amount of time in between my viewings, just enough to forget some of what happens. the performances WOW!! the cinematography, the editing, the pacing! the little easter eggs everywhere. it being really fucking funny too. PATTI LUPONE!! 3 hours of anxiety and i just want to give beau a hug
