  i remember seeing spirited away as a child and thinking that the feeling i get from watching movies would kill me. Saying that poor things scratched an itch inside my brain would be an understatement as it more so felt like catharsis, like a burning tumor finally being removed, which is also how i’d imagine the creators of this film must have felt like since everything from the costumes to the sets was like a howl emerging from the depths…
