Potentially Eggers’s best film in terms of atmosphere, quality, and overall direction. However, I struggled in places with the story. Being a huge fan of the novel Dracula (and having never seen the original Nosferatu), I feel like there were some story changes that felt a bit unwelcome and altered the overall tone of the story.

Casablanca 1942
Powerful movie, especially considering the time it was filmed in. First 45 minutes were slow and then I blinked and was in the final 15. What a movie that keeps you on your toes and really grounds you with all the characters.
