La trama es relevante por su paralelismo con la situación de desplazados por las diferentes guerras y conflictos sociales que hay en el mundo actualmente. Las dificultades y resiliencia que se requiere para volver a empezar es el core de la película. Aunque al final es innegable el tono zionista que tiene.
La cinematografía se complementa muy bien de la arquitectura. El score es brutal. Felicity Jones merecía ese premio a Mejor Actriz de Reparto.
