  it drags a bit if you don’t know who nan goldin is (i did not) but i found it fascinating nonetheless. her personal history is heartbreaking and her inexhaustible energy in her fight against the slacker family is admirable. the plot is made up of a compelling combination of the two, though i did lose focus a few times because apparently i have worms for brains and i cant concentrate on things for more than an hour at a time
