apparently i've reviewed this movie before?? not even true bc last night i got mega high and watched it for the first time. what a film my god!! the use of puppetry, the character dynamics, even the fact that The Woman Character isn't necessarily viewed as a love interest and is still important (even if she's damsel-in-distressed a few times). now granted i was high but all the jokes either landed or were so unfunny they still made me laugh, which is a win in my book. i get why it's such a classic

Dracula's Ex-Girlfriend 2024
this feels sooo Youtuber Movie, but im not entirely mad abt it?? it fits for the characters she's created, which are honestly v interesting and funny to me. maybe not so much the presentation at times, but i like this concept and the metaphors it presents. it's been really interesting watching people who started off as youtubers try to do like Actual Cinema and leave their youtube affectations alllll over a few short films. definitely an experience in that sense. not necessarily bad, just very distinct for me.
