  oh my god are we ever going to get an indian rom com that isn’t cringey and boring and inauthentic. and he WAS BARELY IN IT. there’s such a way to showcase the beauty of indian culture and pay homage to it AND explore the difficulties that come with living in western culture and being brown and this was just another shoot and a miss. i really really wanted to like this film but I think the acting was weak…

  idk. i didn’t like it, I didn’t hate it. I’m so indifferent I don’t know how many stars to give it. mathematically it would be 2.5 but that feels mean. i enjoyed parts of the script and cinematography but felt the acting was very one dimensional.
