  this film did nothing to encourage my empathy for the main characters. wild amounts of charged language and lewd content, even for the time. fake-ass character development and a plot about as solid as a wet napkin. not sure what i expected out of watching this film, but it wasn't that.

  Great for audiences that grew up with the first film.  Kosinski somehow retained the snail’s pace style of 80’s films where the plot takes far too long to develop for maybe two minutes of good action.  Also, the main characters have too much plot armor and are virtually untouchable.  Hard to appreciate the content and suspense when you know everything will turn out alright.

  That considered, it really was not the end of the world as a film.

  Left the viewer with lots of questions at the end that have open-ended answers.  Personally think that Fredo betrayed once again!
