A little unsatisfying but I enjoyed the tone. Drew me right in with the initial premise though - the whole opening sequence was grand, just all fell a liiiittle flat for me.

You gotta look past the fact that Miss Sparkle knew exactly what to do with each part of that kit with instructions somehow vaguer than IKEA’s, but once you do? You’re in for a RIDE. This was an absolute treat and I can’t wait to watch it again. I’ll probs pass on the snacks tho.

Actually just super disappointing. So many threads that I wanted to unravel during the film but none of them ended up going anywhere. Felt, if nothing else, like a word of caution about the path your life could take if you don’t take a hold of it - I feel like they did a good job at portraying that internal conflict and the sense of discomfort in one’s own skin. But still an ultimately disjointed and frustrating watch.
