Just a spooky, scary skeleton.
Sound design/soundtracks are my favorite part of a movie.
Fun popcorn movie that combines The Purge with werewolves. Was happily surprised to see full bodied, practical werewolves.
The acting/dialogue is kinda cheesy, but one of the werewolves is wearing a punk vest and has a nose-ring, so this is clearly not a movie that's meant to be taken as a drama.
The only thing that stopped me from rating this a 4 was that the gore is at a minimum. The best we get is a werewolf eating a guy's face, and some werewolf on werewolf violence.
This movie is a great example of a reason for men to seek therapy and work through their own issues instead of relying on women to do all the work for them. Was that the purpose of the movie? Almost certainly not.
There's also all the generational trauma, but that seems to be the big thing to do in horror.
Still have not gotten bored with this movie and I probably have watched it once a year since it was released. A huge part of that is due to Disaster piece's score for the film.
Not terrible, but I'm not sure if I would ever watch it again. Very beautiful score and a few decent shots of kills. The story and characters are kinda bland though. If you really love slashers, you'll likely enjoy this. It hits most of the tropes.
