  the pace and style was good, the third act even gagged me. but the message it sends is soooo bad? i would accept a female serial killer but the screenplay is like a man’s gotcha moment

  one of the better films in this year’s roster, but still far from flawless. i guess i liked where it was going for a bit, but it didnt have a satisfying ending. and the two plotlines were barely intersecting, tangential even. so the subplot feels quite unsupported and unnecessary at times. but its a great film how fighting for justice is excruciatingly hard for the poor and the disenfranchised

  a chunk of the cinemalaya goers thought this was gonna win the grand prize, and i can see why. it has that tenderness of a conversational film like before sunset, but without ever being upfront about its romance. wether its platonic or not, theres a connection. chemistry. and it does feel depressing for something like that just to be fleeting
