  So I don’t usually review or log any of the series on here unless they genuinely blow me away and this is one of them. Adolescence is easily one of the best limited series you’ll find at the moment. It’s definitely not an easy watch but Jack Thorne who is one of the finest writers in this country has delicately crafted it into a masterpiece. And if it wasn’t already obvious, it is after this; Stephen Graham is without a doubt one of the best actors of our generation.

  This was better than I expected. It’s got some funny moments in there and the performances from the whole cast were pretty solid overall. There’s not too much to hate but not too much to love either, it’s just okay.

  The Russo bros have been dropping stinker after stinker since Endgame. This movie perfectly sums up the first quarter of 2025 in terms of its level of movies, or at least the ones that I have seen. It’s pretty hard to make me literally not care about a movie but The Electric State succeeded in doing so within the first half hour. Still yet to be wowed by a movie so far this year, but I knew before watching this; that wasn’t going to change today.

  Companion 2025

  I really wanted to like this more. No doubt it’s fun and very easy to watch but the fact that we know the outcome from the very start just slightly ruins it for me. Some decent performances though, especially from Sophie Thatcher and Jack Quaid as expected.
