Under the Skin 2013
The cinematography, sound design, and A/V work is awesome, but I don’t think my cranium is big enough for this story. I can appreciate a plot that leaves you curious but this movie seems incomplete. There are some great anticipatory scenes and edge of your seat moments but the timeline just goes back and forth between cinematic landscape shots and feeling like you’re about to see some fucked up shit. That almost makes it feel like a film school student’s assignment to make a thriller.
