not sure if it was the incredibly long song mash up dance routines that had a jarring amount of modern music that threw me off bc I thought it was more period piece with all originals like sweeny Todd is a musical not modern music mash ups like pitch perfect/burlesque is a musical? and also my childhood context first crush intro to Ewan McGregor was trainspotting so it was so weird to see him like.....that rather than heroin chic twink. it was unsettling to say the least. anyway it was also just bad
