Alien: Romulus 2024
Romulus showed signs of the classics and actually, I thought this was a relevant entry into the Alien universe, however it failed to reach its own individual heights because of the constant regurgitated scenes that the original films did so well, just to appease fans. I never like this way of doing sequels because after all, familiarity breeds indifference. Having said that, there were a handful of scenes that were done very well, including bringing in the synthetics as another enemy beyond just the aliens.
