The Iron Claw 2023
So bad. like so so bad. maybe i just don’t get it but i didn’t find any of these characters likable other than mike who has like 10 lines. I don’t if i was supposed to hate both the parents but i did. The ending scene zach efron and his kids was touching but other than that this movie didn’t make me feeling anything. Efron looks good though. I wish i could have these two hours back this is my least favorite movie I’ve seen in a long time

To Kill a Mockingbird 1962
This movie does a much better job capturing the book than most do.
They cut out a lot of Atticus’ wisdom which is understandable but sad because it’s probably my favorite part of the book.
Also doesn’t really capture the idea that Boo is the mockingbird bc so much of the plot involving him is cut out.
But overall does a good job doing the book justice and the reveal of Boo at the end is really well executed.
Between the scene in the porch and the “stand up, your daddy’s passing” I’m not sure how i made it through this without any tears
