The complication of this movie, is amazing. It really foes to the highs and lows of the American Dream. A watch for sure. Anything but the ordinary, it is. But, it documents such a life in a big perspective that it is hard to pass it up. I haven’t read the book, yet. But, I would like to say you don’t feel the emotional and physical impact as if watching the movie. So, do yourself a favor.
This movie, I only gave 4 stars because it’s not my favorite. But, it has my heart - especially the soundtrack by Gary Chapman. It plays a good backdrop for the movie and Jim plays a good role model for the kids in the film. He faces uncertainty, but gets back up again and proves it to the camp counselors. One of the very first comical movies - I ever understood and watched (FULLY). Definitely recommend!
Ernest Goes to Jail,
Is the slapstick journey of another Jim Varney film. The serious actor who played Shakespeare, before. Is now in a movie where he gets mixed up and busted from his look-alike (Felix Nash). It follows the death row storyline as Ernest ends up in jail with nobody to believe him. But, the criminal that put him in his spot. I like this movie and it’s bound to be a favorite of mine. Because, the ernest franchise…
