  Well, i think this film shows very well how parental guilt, and post-partum depression really is, because she feels PURE guilt about not loving her son "Enough" or like she SHOULD love him. And never really blames kevin about his actions, she just takes the guilt, because she is the mother, the parental figure that its supposed to guide…
