Despite this movie being about golf a sport I don't particularly enjoy in real life (mini or real ) the last scene where his father stands in the crowd as his son is lifted onto everyone's shoulders and hands him a dollar before melting into the crowd makes me emotional every time. He didn't know how to show his son he was proud of him with words after tell him to give up on his stupid pipe dream so he hands him money with a smile and idk it just works for me.
