A fantastic premise with two likeable if not brilliant actors in the lead roles. Enjoyable in the moment, ultimately let down by the lack of courage in its own convictions and a supremely unsatisfying ending. Bonus appearance of Laurence Fishburne is always welcome

Dune: Part Two 2024
Slightly biased, perhaps, as a self proclaimed “Dune head” of over 25 years, but this is an all-timer for me. The care and passion shown by Villeneuve is evident in every scene, and the cast really shine in this masterful version of Herbert’s “unadaptable” novel. Along with part one, this is The Lord of the Rings for this generation.
