This film is spattered with super cringy moments, Miya Folick tunes, and an eccentric and fun cast. There are lots of big names appearing on screen for just a single scene or two, but when they do they steal it for themselves.
The emotional/character development is slow but if you can sit through cringing for over an hour the film ends on a feel good note.
Watched this after seeing Louise Brealey in Such Brave Girls, and her performances never disappoint. The humour is very british, the musical aspect is minimal yet enjoyable, and the story overall heartwarming.
