Luca's films have such a varying effect on me, I'm starting to really enjoy this pocket of films he's carved out for himself, like a genre of his own where each film experiments and explores the different reaches of it whilst still staying true to its core

This one's sense of adventure is the main thing that grasped me, maybe it's because the sparsity of films I've watched recently but I found myself not thinking about how much time has…

I tried so hard to be interested but goddamn this was boring, good but so unentertaining, Ralph Fiennes plays a archbishop well though, not sure if thats something to be proud of

Google assistant went off mid movie in the cinema, almost cried

    Religion is wack

Luca has made his own genre of erotic sexuality exploration, very jarring but also very comforting, you know that as soon as someone is in a Luca film they're immediately vulnerable and never really looked at the same

Big fan of the trance techno music that makes me feel like I've been on a bender for 3 weeks, somehow works really well as abrupt as it is

His films all feel almost too cinematic and modern but again works perfectly…

Sadly didn't hit as hard as the first time but I definitely appreciated it in a different way that I think is only possible with a re-watch, also writing an essay on it as we speak (using this to procrastinate), so my idea of it is probably a bit skewed too

What I find most interesting about this film is that for me at least it sets very strangely in my memory, I never really know how I feel about it and the images I have in my head are not the usual big iconic shots I usually remember
