  Aliens 1986

  Special effects were cool, but that’s kinda all this movie had going for it. Yeah, I get the whole Vietnam allegory, but it was just told through worn out tropes and cliched characters. Also, it really just did not stay true to the first film (it can be debated as to whether or not that matters, but the atmosphere Ridley Scot created in Alien is what made me love that movie).

  Side note: Ripley should look into getting some SSRI’s.
