  Listen!! This modern duology/continuation of the series is fun. I’ve felt for a long time that it does what a lot of modern reboots with horror are trying to do (Halloween 2018 trilogy I’m looking at you)- bring in the big names, but with a darker, rougher depiction of the story.

  This movie has a good foundation, but doesn’t grow into much. The cast performs, the environment is there, but it doesn’t shine the way I was hoping for. The journalist perspective of war is a fascinating one for me personally, so it was good, but not great.
