An inexperienced director and it shows. Nothing clicks or works as it should. An over reliance on loud strings to attempt jump scares that fail. Characters you couldn’t care less about and decisions so idiotic, you can’t help but think the script was way too early in development. So forgettable, I almost forgot to write this review. A couple of beautiful landscape shots earns one star though. Disappointing.

Blink Twice 2024
Slowly suspenseful to begin but descends into nonsense. I had avoided it after hearing bad reviews but gave it a try. It manages to capture a creepy undertone to a shiny veneer and some current social commentary but does nothing with it of note.
