There are some really good elements to this film and they are well supported and fun to experience primarily due the acting of both Malkovich and Edebiri. However, I think there were some commitment issues that took the wind out of the sails. Definitely worth watching for the hip thrusting scene.

Some of the most incredible costumes I’ve ever seen. Definitely worth getting through the tedium of the first half of the movie. The ending is a nail biter with exciting examples of early special effects.
