Teeth the musical > teeth the movie
I recently saw the Teeth off Broadway, which was one of the most compelling and exciting pieces of art I have ever seen. This show inspired me to watch the movie… and wow… it’s not nearly as fun without musical numbers and confetti.
I’m not sure if this is supposed to be as “funny” as it is. It’s made by men, and at times it feels like I’m not sure if they are laughing…

I hated this movie so much that I downloaded this app just to write about how horrible it was. I’m literally disturbed that this received such great reviews… were there any women on the writing team??? The entire movie is just a running joke about how much sex this “woman” is having, while never addressing that she has the brain of a child. It’s extremely disturbing, and not in a “artist” or “makes you think” type of way! The acting fell short, the story was poorly adapted, the editing was illogical, and it looks like it was made by AI. Truly horrible.
