movie was fine ? was beautiful to watch and angelina is no exception herself. kinda got bored though and had a hard time staying locked in for the movie to really hit me at any point so this is the extent of depth i can give in a review of a movie like this
was good, but had higher expectations for no reason i guess? this movie honestly tested my patience and attention span lowkey, the main plot elements were so predictable i spent the whole movie waiting for something to hit and it kinda never did? idk. the last scene saved the movie though thankfully

the epilogue ending felt like such a scramble but goddamn did i secretly love that venice biennale b roll. but seriously, to spend so much time building a plot to end it with the epilogue like that just made it feel unfinished
overall good though, especially the first half. I thought the assimilation/american dream criticism was good but using rape like that kinda overtook the rest of the movie
