Ugh. I forgot how terribly sad this movie is. Idk how they managed to leave me feeling satisfied after such a brutal ending. So tragically beautiful. It’s definitely a good reminder that you can’t “fix” everyone. People will (and should) do what is best for themselves, whether or not you agree, so you just gotta love them through it. One of my fave movies.
Side note- reminds me of a relative of mine by the name of Francois. IYKYK
Ummmm. I have no words. This was incredibly uncomfortable to watch in a room full of people. Nicole Kidman has some interesting kinks I’ll tell you what!! This was one of the smuttiest kinkiest movies I have seen thus far. I feel pretty neutral about it overall. Had some good laughs. And loaded up on margaritas!!
Sooo I’m an idiot. I initially gave this one star. I watched this once when I was 15 and didn’t give it a chance. I don’t really like musicals and I remember being pissed about the ending.
