This 2005 erotic romance ft. Heath Ledger raw dogging Jake Gyllenhaal gets a solid 3.5 stars. A film listed on Sarah’s “movies that one MUST watch in their lifetime”, it could have easily cut out some footage and still gotten the point across in less than 1.5 hours vs. the running time of over 2. I say this coming from a place of antsiness/boredom/probably undiagnosed ADHD. Despite this technical flaw, the acting was spot on and ahead of its time.…

The Florida Project 2017
Not sure if Sean Baker has actually lived in Orlando, or just did extra-extensive research into the Central Florida community, but The Florida Project may just be the most spot-on depiction of Orlando I’ve ever witnessed in film. As someone who was raised 45 minutes north of Orlando, I have actually passed the motel where Mooney and friends live their imaginative, colorful lives every time I would be going to the airport. A beautiful film depicting such sorrowful struggles. Brooklynn Prince gave quite the performance
