  It's a bloody, nostalgic masterpiece. The vibrant world that Scorcese has created it's so enticing, making you feel the magnetic pull this frivolous life has over these despicable and lovable people. The fact that the film does not stop at the glamour and the good times, and it shows the consequences of a life of violence through the span of the years, sets it apart from other crime stories. Do not get fooled by the lenght, it never slows down.…

  Begin Again 2013

  I'll admit I'm not that into romcoms, but it's also true I haven't given the genre the chance it deserves. I wasn't convinced to see this one, but oh boy am I glad that I did.

  A lovely film, with some really nice music to make it even better. Keira was charming and hey, it made me dislike Ruffalo a little bit less, so that's a plus too.

  Holds up pretty well after a re-watch. It's a slow burn, but surely delivers, and the long shots are beautiful, but then again, it's Roger Deakins we are talking about here. Emily Blunt it's outstanding, but Benicio, even with all his character's stoicism, steals the show here.
