  Jonathan Majors gives a tour de force performance in a film that gets more right then wrong but still doesn’t quite hit the 4 star mark from me as it’s a little long and slow. There is no doubt in my mind that had this come out as originally planned and without the knowledge of the garbage human being he is that he’d have gotten a golden statue for it.   This updated to modern sensibilities reimagining is more pointless then the others because of the 16 million other revisionist takes on Snow White that are already out there. Despite an off screen personality problem Rachel Zegler is adequate in the girl boss version of Snow White while the also problematic Gal Gadot gives a career worst performance as she chews the scenery at every turn and gives a singing performance worse than that pandemic era Imagine cover.   I wanted to like this one because I like Rebecca Hall but it really didn't do much for me. She was good, the film had a creepy atmosphere but nothing really happens and aside from some LOUD jump scare sounds on the soundmix it really isn't scary. There's a couple decent scenes which are strangely comedic but all in all, I was pretty bored and now have a headache. Totally forgettable.

  Mostly fun mixture of ready player one, borderlands and a bit of amblin esque family adventure. A lot of the plot becomes confusing and goes nowhere but it has heart and soul for a film about robots. Not sure where the budget went as it doesn’t look like 320 million that’s for sure.
