Incredibly funny for most of it, then turns into something incredibly sad. Well deserved Oscar for Mikey Madison too (the little looks she gives as she takes in everything around her in new environments!!) but perhaps it needed more time at the end to be spent with Anora after everything goes down? Feels like something is lacking to stop the movie at this point or at least without showing more of her internal life.

Interstellar 2014
Every time I watch this, I love it more. I think except for the "you go away, I'll die with my family" bit at the end, I now have zero complaints? I used to find "love is one of the fundamental forces" part bad but I've more or less come around on it as a "more on heaven and earth than are dreamt of in your philosophy" situation - it's an optimistic look at the universe where human connection deeply matters.

Dune: Part Two 2024
The cinematography and the scale that's on display is nothing short of astounding. Did feel a little bit like the second half went by too quickly (and kinda disappointed about the lack of a certain character) but what an incredible achievement!
