If I'm not watching I'm reading <3
Interestingly another short that I watched recently that shows the effects of the pandemic. That's not the main focus of the doc, but it was for me - a compelling aspect of it. It was hard - to see those young children sad and anxious, but they are learning responsibility and how to function in society. Sometimes it's not a nice process but the sense of accomplishment is very rewarding - I think we all can agree on that, whether we live in Japan or somewhere else in the world.
My god, it was so stupid... Not only is this movie full of creeps, but it's also so dull, ableist, and misogynistic. The story is almost non-existent, and when it's actually trying to do something, it's full of cliché, and it's not something I wanted to see, for example, sisters being in love with the same (horrible!!) man. Musical moments were mehh, nothing interesting. The only good thing was some of the broadway costumes.
