Bride of Frankenstein 1935
I would give it 5 stars if it wasn’t based on a book. Not to say there can’t be sequels that aren’t based on their source material, but no matter how many times I watch Frankenstein and this movie, I always remember how the monster was portrayed in the book. I feel like the monster and Frankenstein had much more depth to each of their characters in the novel, but I understand that for movies that are an hour long each, that isn’t totally doable. As a stand alone though, I love the pacing and overall vibe of this movie :)

We're All Going to the World's Fair 2021
I understand now why this movie has mixed reviews. Nothing super intense really happens, but I think it does a great job at capturing an atmosphere. I was genuinely sad for the main character while watching this, you can really feel how lonely she is.
