Made in Hong Kong is such a visually astonishing masterpiece, whilst the cinematography and the production stand out the most, despite the ultra low budget.
The director Fruit Chan manages to give the film (his debut!) such an deep emotional touch creating a moody and dreamlike atmosphere. The cast, although amateurs, are just captivating. Poetic, evocative and immense beauty in a haunting, despairing film!
