    rewatch for valentine’s day. i was glued to each expression these actors make. for a walk-and-talk film, there’s something about it that’s gripping. and yet my mind wanders a bit, to my own life and my own loves. this time i could really see the influence of éric rohmer— my favorite rohmer films, the ones where they just philosophize about love. ultimately it’s the early-twentysomething naïveté and earnestness that keeps me coming back to the first installment of this trilogy.
