happy 10th year anniversary, interstellar, you perfect little movie about the unbreakable yet vulnerable human spirit & condition. watched this one as god intended: a sold out IMAX showing. Hans Zimmer just hits different when it’s hurting your eardrums.

did I spend the first hour of the movie thinking Mai had a lesbian lover when it was actually her daughter? yes.
I was really wanting this one to pull through and wow me. I immediately fell in love with the opening scene with the wide shots of the market. unfortunately the storyline was messy, there were so many interesting things picked up and then discarded and it left me feeling annoyed lol also it tried to be scary for like 3 seconds and it was so weird ??? also the boo thang was pretty aggressive and weird and creepy at the beginning.
