i sincerely believe this is pixar's best film since COCO. i didn't think this at first, but it eventually won me over and easily became my favorite from this more recent stretch of the studio's library. this would be cemented when i (thankfully) caught the theatrical re-release last week. i'm so glad i did.

Cars 2006
This film was an important part of my childhood: i bought the toys, played the games, and watched it many, MANY times. Even today, i think it's a beautiful film. Although it does lack in comparison to many of the other films in Pixar's catalog, it's still a very pleasant time. Worth revisiting every once in a while.
